These terms govern your use of Iqraa.tech. They explain what this site offers, what you may do with it, and the terms that apply if you support the site through a reader contribution or subscription. Please read them before using the site.

1. Who operates this site
Iqraa.tech is operated by Amar Tinawi, an individual publisher operating on a for-profit basis. References to “we”, “us” and “our” in these terms mean the site operator. References to “you” mean the person using the site.

2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing Iqraa.tech you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you use a paid feature, you also agree to the specific terms in section 6.
You must be at least 16 years old to use this site. If you make a payment, you must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and you must be the authorised holder of the payment method used.
3. What Iqraa.tech provides
Iqraa.tech publishes technical tutorials, explainers and curated resources covering AI tools, cloud platforms, developer workflows and related subjects, in English and Arabic. Content is educational.
We aim to be accurate and to test what we publish, but technology changes quickly. Commands, interfaces, pricing and vendor behaviour described in an article may be outdated by the time you read it. Content is provided for learning, not as professional advice.
4. Technical content: read this before running anything
This is the most important section on this page.
Tutorials on this site include shell commands, configuration files, code samples and instructions that interact with real systems, including cloud accounts that bill you for usage. Running them has real consequences.
- You are responsible for understanding a command before you run it.
- You are responsible for any charges incurred on your own cloud, API or vendor accounts, including charges caused by following a tutorial on this site.
- You are responsible for backing up data before running anything that modifies or deletes it.
- Run examples in a test environment first, never directly against production systems.
- Never paste credentials, API keys or tokens from a tutorial into a production system, and never treat an example value as a safe default.
We are not liable for data loss, service disruption, security incidents, unexpected vendor charges or any other damage arising from your use of instructions published here. If you are unsure, do not run it.
5. Acceptable use
You may read, share and link to content on this site freely. You may use code samples in your own projects, including commercially, unless an individual article states otherwise or the code carries its own licence from an upstream source.
You may not:
- Republish substantial portions of articles as your own work, or without clear attribution and a link to the original.
- Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or bypass rate limiting and security measures.
- Circumvent any paywall, metering or access control, or share credentials that grant paid access.
- Use the site to distribute malware, or to attempt unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
- Use automated systems to submit the contact form or any other form.
- Use content from this site in a way that breaks the law where you are.
6. Reader contributions, subscriptions and registration
Where offered, Iqraa.tech uses Google Reader Revenue Manager to accept voluntary reader contributions, to offer subscriptions, to gate access to certain content, and to collect newsletter signups and reader registrations. Not all of these features are necessarily active at any given time. The terms below apply whenever a given feature is offered.
6.1 How payment works
Payments are processed by Google, not by us. When you contribute or subscribe, you transact through Google’s payment systems using your Google Account. We never receive, see or store your full card number, bank details or other payment credentials. Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that transaction alongside these terms.
Prices are shown at the point of purchase, in the currency displayed at that time. Prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your location, as indicated at checkout. We may change prices for future purchases at any time. A price change never applies retroactively to a billing period you have already paid for.
6.2 Contributions
A contribution is a voluntary payment in support of the site. It is not a purchase of goods or services, it does not grant access to gated content unless expressly stated, and it is not a charitable donation for tax purposes. Iqraa.tech operates on a for-profit basis and is not a registered charity or nonprofit, so contributions are not tax deductible.
6.3 Subscriptions and renewal
Where a subscription is offered, it grants access to the content described at the point of purchase, for the period stated. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled, at the price then in effect for that plan. Google notifies you and charges the payment method on file.
6.4 Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time through Google’s subscription management portal, using the Google Account you subscribed with. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise, access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and does not end immediately on cancellation.
Because billing and cancellation are handled by Google, we cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. If you cannot locate or use the cancellation controls, contact us and we will point you to the correct place.
6.5 Refunds
Refunds for payments taken through Google are handled under Google’s refund processes for the payment method and country involved. Where we have discretion, we will consider a refund request made within 14 days of a charge, in good faith, in cases such as a duplicate charge, a charge you did not authorise, or a failure on our side to deliver access you paid for.
We do not generally refund a subscription period that has been substantially used, or a voluntary contribution, since a contribution buys nothing and is given freely. Contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; a direct request is usually resolved faster.
6.6 Registration and newsletter
Registration or newsletter signup may be offered through Reader Revenue Manager. Signing up means you agree to receive the emails described at signup. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not cancel a paid subscription, and cancelling a paid subscription does not automatically unsubscribe you from the newsletter.
6.7 Changes to paid features
We may add, change, gate, ungate or withdraw content and features. If we make a change that materially reduces what an active paid subscription provides, we will tell subscribers and, where appropriate, offer a pro rata refund for the unused remainder of the paid period.
7. Intellectual property
Articles, explainers, images, diagrams and the design of this site are our copyright, except where an item is credited to another party. You may quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page.
Code samples published on this site may be used freely in your own work, including commercially, unless the individual article says otherwise. Where a sample is adapted from an upstream open source project, that project’s licence governs it and we will identify the source in the article.
Screenshots of third-party products, terminal output and documentation extracts remain the property of their respective owners and are reproduced for the purpose of instruction and commentary.
8. Trademarks and independence
Iqraa.tech is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or certified by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, GitHub or any other vendor whose products are covered here.
Product names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only.
9. Third-party links
This site links to external resources including documentation, repositories and courses. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site’s own terms.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the site for maintenance, security or business reasons, without notice and without liability. We may also remove or amend published content at any time.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that content is accurate, current, complete or error free, that the site will be secure or uninterrupted, or that any defect will be corrected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of this site or its content, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damage.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 UAE dirhams.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of the rights of another party.
14. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate your access to the site, including any paid access, if you breach these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or to protect the site and its readers. Where we terminate paid access other than for a breach by you, we will refund the unused portion of the current paid period.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Material changes affecting paid features will be notified to affected subscribers before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the United Arab Emirates have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer resident in a country whose law grants you mandatory protections that cannot be set aside by agreement, including consumers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, nothing in this section deprives you of those protections or of the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us. Most issues can be resolved directly and quickly.
17. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
